www.caribbeaninvestmentnetwork.com is a web-based matching service for angel investors seeking investment opportunities and entrepreneurs seeking capital. This website is owned by Angel Investment Network Ltd, a London-based investment company founded in 2004.
The company’s first online angel network was the UK website (www.angelinvestmentnetwork.co.uk). After the success of the UK site we began to expand, and today we have 30 networks worldwide covering over 50 countries in Europe, North America, South America, Africa, Asia and Australasia. We have managed to bring the investment world much closer together by enabling entrepreneurs to contact investors locally, nationally and internationally (and vice versa).
We currently have over 60,000 members worldwide making us the largest angel investment community in the world, and our database is growing daily. This means we are the ideal place for entrepreneurs to find funding and for investors to find investment opportunities. In 2007 Angel Investment Network Ltd was nominated for the Best Angel Investor award by Spears Wealth Management at the HNW awards for our contribution to angel investment.
Since we are an internet company our overheads are low and the contact process is very streamlined. For this reason our rates are extremely competitive compared to many other Angel Groups that will charge 10 times our fees. After the initial contact fee we charge no additional fees and no commission, as the entrepreneurs deal directly with the investors.
